we made it. we are in arizona. it was a long and crazy trip to get here and things are still not in order.

our new state has suffered a great tragedy, which has made me ever more grateful for not what i have, but who i have in my life.
this place could not be more different than everything i'm used to.
but, we're settling in. i'm exploring my surroundings and while i'm apprehensive about a lot of things, i'm learning that there's a lot of beauty and many kind people to be found.
i want to share more about our road trip out here and hopefully pictures of our new home soon. but right now there's just lots to do and much to see.
i will share some pictures of my new terrain, though.
i can see mexico from my house! seriously.
